I Look Younger

I've been mistaken for being younger than I really am.

I recently had one of the school's cafeteria workers mistake me for being a freshman, when I was actually a junior. "Oh, no offense! It's just that you actually looked like you just got out of high-school."

I had a security guard mistake me for being 12 once at the fair. I had to tell him that I actually drove everyone here and I could prove my age with my driver's license.

I've also been pulled over into secondary by the border patrol and asked background-questions, probably because I looked too young to be driving by myself. A girl that looked like she was 12, driving all alone in the middle of the desert in a crappy Honda, with a big black Labrador in the back seat...That can be pretty suspicious.

It especially drives me nuts when people see my ID and immediately assume I'm younger.
